Eleven people suffering from apparently groundless physical symptoms eventually find themselves at Dr. Ichirō Irabu's consulting room. They hoped to find there a sympathetic doctor who would listen to their troubles, give them some pills and with this, end their problems once and for all. Instead, they find that Irabu is eccentric with childish features and harboring little or no sympathy.
He employs drastic and unheard-of treatments and instead of counseling, he prefers to look at his patients' background personally. Despite his strange motives, he can always help his patients find the real causes behind their symptoms -- while being amused at the awkward situations which the patients get into by following his advice.
He is seen by other psychiatrists as obscene and childish, although his treatments seem to work.
Did I mention he has a huge injection fetish? Oh, yes.
